Dress Up Time
We learn a lot in Kindergarten through playtime, and our favorite play area this year is definitely the Housekeeping area. I love to listen to the goings on in this pretend house area, where there are "phone calls" to "order pizza," "babysitters" coming to work, and lots of "pets" being taken care of! Our friends especially love to dress up for "the ball" and to "go to work!" Check us out!!

We Like to Move It, Move It!
Motor Development Day at SVSU is one of our favorite field trips of the year, mostly because we get to MOVE, MOVE, MOVE all day long! We love the stations where the Kinesiology students observe and evaluate our locomotor skills, and this year we even got a chance to work with the elementary PE teacher candidates. They taught us some new games, and we taught them how to manage their future classrooms! The parachute is always a big hit, too! We like to move it, move it!

Down on the Farm!
God blessed us with some good weather in the middle of a rainy week to visit Weiss Farm and their corn maze in Frankenmuth! We had the best time figuring out how to get out of the maze by following the informational clues, as we learned about entomology and how bugs are helpful and harmful to our local farms. Mrs. Weiss turned us all lose in her alfalfa field, and we pretended to be entomologists ourselves, looking for and collecting insects. We had a wagon ride to see the milking cows and learned SO much about how technology helps farmers today! What a great day in Kindergarten!
