All Aboard!

Kindergarten joined First Grade for a ride on the Polar Express last Friday afternoon!  It was the perfect day (Pajama Day) to cuddle up with a nice cup of hot chocolate (with lots of marshmallows) and watch one of our favorite Christmas movies!

First Pastor Buckhahn (Engineer Buckhahn) took time out of his busy schedule to read us the Polar Express book, and then we all turned in our "tickets" to ride!

Deck the Halls

It was a cloudy day, but the smiles were bright as our Kinder friends toured Kluck's Nursery last Thursday.  This trip was a first for me, but it will definitely be an annual trip from now on!  We thoroughly enjoyed every part of our tour and playtime at the family owned and operated Christmas Tree farm!

Jumping for Joy!

A trip to Gym Jesters is always the highlight field trip of our Kindergarten year!  This year was no exception.  Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the continuous exercise and fun.  We used the rings to swing over and into the foam pit, even though it too a lot of our muscles to get ourselves out again!  We ran and jumped, climbed and slid down the zip line, we bounced on the trampoline, and played on the climbing wall.  It was a great experience, one that they are still talking about a week later!

Reading Friends are the Best!

We had a great time with our Wescourt Reading Buddies last week!  To celebrate National Young Reader Day, our friends from the retirement village here in town came over on their bus to read to us for a whole hour!  We read to them first, and then they picked some great books to share with our groups.  We are so thankful for the friendships we have made with the residents of Wescourt, and can't wait for our next adventure with them!
