A New Pack!
Finally! My computer is back in working order and I AM BACK on the blog!!!
There's nothing better to a Kindergartener than a brand new pack of crayons! Well, let me tell you, there's nothing better to a Kindergarten teacher than a brand new pack of Kinder Friends! I couldn't be happier with our mix of boys, girls, personalities, talents, and smiles this year! A class of twelve friends fills our room, with seven girls and five boys. This is the first year in a looooong while that I have had fewer boys than girls. We'll see how that goes!! LOL
We are working hard on our handwriting so that we can do our pencil and paper work with legibility. This is a daunting task for some of our friends, as they do not have the necessary strength in their fingers yet. Any practice at home with writing and cutting will help to strengthen these muscles and tune our fine motor skills.
My plan this year is to let you in on our weekly letter focus, with some great pictures and stories that go along with the letters. I can't wait to share our fun days with you! Thanks for reading. :)
