Put me in, Coach!

Kindergarten friends learned the Rally Coach strategy last week, as we helped each other work through a mixed up set of alphabet cards.  Rally Coach has students "coaching" each other through the learning process, without giving answers or doing the work for them.  Both sides learn by working together to solve the problem at hand.  We are looking forward to lots of opportunities to use this strategy as we strengthen our academic and social skills!

Fundraising Fanatics!

Our class has been working so hard to collect pledges for our FUN RUN this Friday!  We have earned a lot of incentives, and today was CRAZY HAT DAY!!!  I am so excited to say that we are over our next goal, too!  Tomorrow we will have a SUNDAE PARTY to celebrate!

Hurray for a New School Year!

We have successfully finished the first two weeks of Kindergarten, and we are still standing!  LOL  As usual, it is a transition period, but it seems everyone has adjusted well and we are starting to roll.  One of the most important things we learn in Kindergarten is how to share and get along with others. We have been working at our tables in collaborative stations as we learn to take turns, work together, and make good choices with our friends.  Check us out!
