LSW - Days 3, 4 & 5

The second half of Lutheran Schools Week was filled with fun and festivities!  We had Crayon Day, where our whole class dressed in the color black, like a black crayon.  We went to chapel with our Chapel Buddies, who were all dressed in blue.  We laughed, because we looked like a big black and blue bruise together!!  LOL

After chapel, the pastors and our principal treated us all to donuts and juice in the narthex!  We sat with our First Grade friends, who were all dressed in yellow.  We laughed again, and took a special picture, because we looked like bumble bees when we stood with them!!  :)

The next day was When I Grow Up day, where we dressed like what we might like to be when we grow up.  We had a lot of different ideas about our future!!

The last day of the week was Chargers Spirit Day!  We dressed in our red and black Bethlehem gear, and even took an awesome picture with the whole school!  Friday night was our fabulous Fun Fair, where our PTL treated us to games, fun, prizes, and tons of fellowship with our school friends.    We are blessed to be able to live, work, and play as part of the Bethlehem Family!  God bless our Lutheran Schools!

LSW - Days 1 & 2

We are off and running with our Lutheran School's Week celebration!  We started out with a great opening devotion by Mr. Alex.  We learned the theme of LSW, "It's still ALL about Jesus!"  Our dress-up day yesterday was Mixed Up Monday.  Oh boy!  Check out our "styles!"  Some of us have been "practicing" all year for this one :)

In the afternoon, we were treated to Dr. Seuss Day in the Library with Mrs. Ginny Sowatsky!  She helped us make "Seuss Stew," as we read a bunch of Dr. Seuss books together.  What a riot!

Tuesday was Dr. Seuss or Book Character Day.  We had everything from Things 1 and 2, to Sam-I-Am, to Darth Vadar, to Clark the Shark.  Curious George and Eloise even joined us for the fun!

We made our very own Cat in the Hat art projects!

Eloise read her book to us in class!

Fox in Socks read his book to us, too!
I can't wait to see what the rest of the week holds for us!  Stay tuned!
